同济大学市政工程专业博士。1998年至1999年香港大学土木系任助理研究员；1999年-2002年新加坡南洋理工大学土木与环境工程学院任研究员(research fellow)；2002年-2004年美国犹他州立大学土木与环境系任博士后。2008年获上海市青年科技启明星计划。2009年获得教育部新世纪人才。兼任教育部高等学校教学指导委员会交通运输类专业交通工程教学指导分委员会委员、中国交通运输协会青年科技工作者工作委员会副主任委员。主要研究方向为交通大数据分析、交通网络分析与评价、交通规划技术及交通需求预测方法。主持国家自然基金项目2项、863项目1项，参与国家自然基金重点项目2项、863项目2项。在国际交通研究领域学术期刊发表论文167篇，其中SCI收录23篇，引用次数268次（截止2017年6月，H-index为8）。申请及获得专利5项，软件著作权3项。
